Situation

Arosa is situated in the end of the Schanfigg, a wonderful valley in the Grisons. The resort is spoilt by the sun and rarely gets affected by wind. Arosa is situated on 1800 meters above sea level and snow is guaranteed the whole winter.

New enlarged ski area for the 2013/2014 season

We welcome you to a new winter season. For this year we have a bigger ski area, 3 times bigger than the previous years: 225 km of Ski & Snowboard trails thanks to the new Arosa-Lenzerheide-Valbella connection. This makes Arosa one of the largest fully connected ski areas in Switzerland.

In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Arosa provides a number of activities. Walking trails connect many of the alpine huts and restaurant accessed by the skiers. A number of hotels have swimming pools and Spas that are open to non-guests. There is an indoor ice rink and 2 outdoor ice rinks. 3 sledge runs provide fun for the whole family.

Arosa would like to bring back its young guests on the ski slopes and re-awake the joy of snow sports. With its pleasant and successful snow sports schools, Arosa is the leader of Switzerland in children’s ski schools. Therefore Arosa offers the perfect conditions to train the offspring.

For all those reasons we decided to participate on the ‘skischool inclusive’ program of Arosa which means: During the winter season 2013/2014 all group and ski and snowboard classes in Arosa (ABC and SSSA Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Arosa) are for free for your children born in and after 1996.
